The compressibility of fluids is confined to their behavior in the mode of compression. The definition of the bulk modulus of elasticity stems from the relative change in volume and provides a measure of the compressibility of a fluid.

It is the amount of deviation from the ideal gas equation of state, PV=nRT.  Adding the compressibility factor, Z, yields  PV = Z nRT 

If the compressibility of some quantity of air n=1, at 30 Bara is 0.82 and 273 °K, then its volume will be 

V = 0.82 x n x R x 273  / 30, or

82% of the volume of an ideal gas.

Where R is the universal gas constant.
