The function of governor in diesel engines is to control the relation between the fuel consumption and the load in all operations time .. and the fly wheel function is to save the power between the strokes , the out put power for engines mainly in power stroke the fly wheel save thiss power for the stability of engines at all strokes ..

Governor is a device which controls the speed of the engine by controlling the quantity of the fuel supplied to the fuel pump in case of Diesel engine. Function of flywheel is to store the energy during the power stroke and release the same during compression stroke to prevent fluctuations of engineĀ
