An excellent application example for this is an inflatable park where the pressure differential is only a few PSI. A compressor is used when the target pressure differential is high, usually about 50 PSI to 180 PSI depending on the type of compressor used. The target flow rates are comparable to a pump but are generally on the lower side for any given size.
